The tech support of the USB camera we use, Intel Realsense, says the error message in subject is benign (github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense#7099). But as I started a conversation on the same forum (github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense#8215), this error message gets printed too often in /var/log/syslog and confuses us (esp. not everyone in my workplace is expected to be familliar with decoding Linux system log).
One thing I might be fine is to simply suppress it. Someone from the thread in one of the links above suggested disabling uvcvideo's logging (theimagingsource.com), which I tested but don't see improvement (as I commented github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense#8215 (comment)).
Is there a way to not log this line?
